Tcheck init List & Create Messages

Occasionally when attempting to run a report via WinTime the error 'TPin List and create' or 'Directory is locked' messages may appear.
Temporary files remaining in the PC's memory can cause this to happen. To resolve this close all the programs running on the PC and reboot.

In the event that this does not clear the message you can remove the temporary files manually.
  • Close both WinTime & Goldwin
  • Click Start > Search/Find
  • In the file name search box type *.lck
  • In the look in box select My Computer
  • Then choose search / find now and let the system search for any files.
  • It should find a number of files, the ones we are looking for are files with the named pdox or paradox
  • We want to delete this files only, if you highlight and delete these files
  • With this removed close down the search windows and then retry your report
