Pi the next generation of time recording software

Building on our expertise and the success of WinTime, we are proud to announce that the arrival of our new system Pi is imminent. This revolutionary new product, the first of its kind, will change the direction of Time Recording offering the first truly flexible system with capabilities far beyond that of any other system on the market. With the capability to integrate with and take information from any system, the possibilities are endless.

Unlike the majority of existing time recording systems, Pi is designed to be far more than just an application. It is capable of combining a powerful calculation and reporting utility with a variety of data sources.

Previously, time recording systems operated as stand alone applications that incorporated a core database to store information. Due to its unique design, Pi is a true Personnel Desktop Database Utility.

Recent developments in database design and the increasing speed of IT communication have seen a significant change in the way that customers store and manage their data.

Until now, information has been passed between applications by importing and exporting data.

Whilst Pi still utilises a database, it has been designed to be able to utilise information directly from other databases. For the first time, it is now possible to incorporate database fields directly from other databases within the Pi system.

For example, Pi is able to use the name field from the HR database and the Personnel number from the Payroll database directly- without the need to import the data.

These shared fields can then be updated in either application, without the need to import or export the data.

Pi is capable of accessing critical data, and combining them together in one system. This means that this data can be combined and processed using the core elements of the Pi system.

This shared data facility means that Pi can incorporate either bespoke applications or true integration with other key business systems. As developers, this means that we can be truly flexible with what subsystems we fully program within the system, balanced with the existing third party applications that already exist.
