Cards showing '08 or #73 no record' at the terminal.

Occasionally a card may show the above error code when an employee tries to book in via a time recording terminal. This usually happens when the employee's badge number has been changed and the terminal has not been updated.

To reload the record you will need an Admin username and password, if you do not know this please call the help desk.

To resolve this message please follow the steps below:

  • Ensure Goldwin is open if it is closed the terminal will not be updated, if you have just opened Goldwin please retry the card after 5 minutes.
  • With Goldwin on the screen, choose Files > Unlock
  • A Login box should appear, enter the username and password given via the helpdesk.
  • Then select Files > Polling (to remove the tick)
  • If polling is not displayed, then select Files > Lock and Unlock again.
  • After the tick on polling has been removed choose Files> Reload One Personal Record
  • You will then see a selection box here you need to select the person who is receiving the message, either double click the record or select and click ok.
  • Then turn polling back on by selecting Files > Polling and then Files > Lock.

After following the above you should wait around five minutes for the information to be sent round to the terminals.
