Formerly known as Hengstler, we became hfx Ltd in 1997. The long-established German company developed the concept of "flextime" in the 1970's, and began to supply a variety of mechanical time recording systems, some of which are still in use today. We introduced the concept of flexible working hours to the UK in 1971 and "Flextime®" is our registered trademark.
The 1980s saw the development of the Datamod system and the evolution of our first PC based systems beginning with Emudat and PIAS, a DOS based system. The emergence of such products heralded a revolution in time recording and established hfx (then Hengstler) as market leaders, pioneering technological advancements and promoting the concept of Flextime® to a rapidly growing market.

1996 saw the launch of WinTime our first Windows based package. Constant, customer-driven development and innovation over the years has made Wintime a market-leading software. WinTime is now available as multi-user networked system, web enabled, with online modules and multi-site administration.
Our approach in recent years has been to focus on providing ‘One Card- One Solution’ a fully integrated system which incorporates access control, Photo ID production and Time Analysis, and with the ability to integrate with major HR and Payroll systems.
Whatever your needs we have a solution. For organisations who do not require an integrated system hfx also supply standalone systems- as simple or as sophisticated as you require.
